Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking an Interim Specification Technologist for a 2-3 month contract in the UK. The role involves managing retailer specifications, ensuring compliance, and supporting product launches. It offers one day on-site and four days of remote work.

The ideal candidate has food manufacturing experience, familiarity with Aldi specifications, and knowledge of current food legislation. Immediate start available and expenses covered at £350 per day.

Qualifications

• Experience using Hive.
• Experience managing specifications for Aldi.
• Strong understanding of food legislation, labeling and retailer compliance requirements.
• Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
• Available for an immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain customer specifications across retailer portals.
• Review, update and approve product specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise with internal departments including Technical, NPD, Procurement and Operations.
• Ensure specifications meet retailer requirements and regulatory standards.
• Provide support during product launches and specification amendments.
• Work with retailer systems and customer requirements to meet strict deadlines.
