Aramark UK is hiring a Food Service Assistant at Fulwood Barracks, Preston, PR2 8AA. You will prepare and serve food and beverages to customers, helping to deliver great service in a busy environment.

This permanent role operates as a zero-hours contract with casual shifts on a rota. The position includes on-site parking, a free uniform, discounted meals on shift, and access to our Employee Benefits App with health services and discounts.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
• General kitchen duties, including food preparation including making sandwiches and cold food
• General front of house duties such as clearing tables, table service, customer service
• Till work and taking payments
• Restocking items and stock rotation
• General cleaning of front and back of house - Sweeping/Mopping and general housekeeping to ensure areas are always cleaned to a high standard.

What we’re looking for:

• Legal right to work in the UK and ability to pass security vetting and DBS checks (residency waivers available).
• Experience in a similar role in a busy kitchen or food service environment.
• A positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service.
