Job summary

Sodexo at Unilever Four Acres in Kingston upon Thames is seeking a Food Service Assistant to deliver warm, welcoming service and support the provision of high-quality food in a busy corporate environment.

You will work as part of a friendly team, follow food safety procedures, and help ensure guests have a positive experience. The role is permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, paying £14.95 per hour.

Qualifications

• Genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Friendly, professional and approachable manner.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work confidently in a busy customer-facing environment.
• Previous catering, hospitality or customer service experience would be beneficial.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional and attentive service to customers and visitors.
• Assist with the preparation, presentation and service of food and refreshments.
• Serve customers efficiently and help ensure service areas are well stocked and presented.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across food service and customer areas.
• Follow food safety, health and safety and Sodexo procedures at all times.
• Support colleagues during busy service periods and work together to provide a consistently high standard of service.
• Respond positively to customer requests and help create an enjoyable experience for everyone visiting the site.
