Job summary

Sodexo Group at Unilever Four Acres, George Road, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, KT2 7PD, is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to maintain clean and welcoming spaces across guest bedrooms, meeting rooms and public areas, supporting laundry operations.

The role requires prior housekeeping or cleaning experience, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Working hours are 07:00–15:00, 5 days per week, 37.5 hours, with on-site parking and meals on duty.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, cleaning or laundry experience within a hotel, hospitality, healthcare or commercial environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest bedrooms, meeting rooms and public areas to a high standard.
• Support the day-to-day operation of the laundry facilities.
• Ensure areas are clean, hygienic, tidy and well presented.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
• Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues to your supervisor.
• Work as part of the wider team to deliver consistently high standards of service.

As a Housekeeping Assistant with Sodexo at Unilever Four Acres, George Road, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey, KT2 7PD, you’ll help create a welcoming, clean and comfortable environment for everyone using the site.

You’ll maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene across guest bedrooms, meeting rooms, public areas and laundry facilities. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellent service will help ensure our guests and colleagues have a positive experience every day.

What you’ll do:

• Clean and maintain guest bedrooms, meeting rooms and public areas to a high standard.
• Support the day-to-day operation of the laundry facilities.
• Ensure areas are clean, hygienic, tidy and well presented.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
• Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues, damage or concerns to your supervisor.
• Work as part of the wider team to deliver consistently high standards of service.

What you bring:

• Previous housekeeping, cleaning or laundry experience within a hotel, hospitality, healthcare or commercial environment.
• A strong eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment is desirable.
• An understanding of health and safety procedures is desirable.

Working pattern

• Permanent, full-time position
• 37.5 hours per week
• 5 days per week
• 07:00 – 15:00
• £14.95 per hour
