Catering/Kitchen/Food Service Assistants - Manchester (Agency Work)

Search Hospitality & Catering is seeking experienced Kitchen/Catering Assistants to join our busy catering team working across all sectors of the industry, contract catering, healthcare, hospitals and education within Manchester and surrounding areas. We have shifts available ranging from 30 to 40 hours per week.

What we offer:

• Competitive pay: £12.21 to £13.60 (this includes holiday pay) per hour

• Day shifts: Monday to Friday & weekend shifts available

• Full coverage across Manchester areas

Candidate requirements:

• Minimum 1 year full-time experience working in a busy catering environment

• Food Hygiene Certificate & Allergy Awareness

• Ability to work flexible shifts

• Ability to work in different locations

Key responsibilities:

1. Assist kitchen team in preparing a variety of hot and cold sandwiches and salads, supporting Chefs with food prep and service

2. Serve customers, operate tills, and use commercial coffee/drinks machines

3. Confidently use commercial dish washer

4. Support kitchen deep cleaning duties - washing pans, trays, utensils, mopping floors; rubbish removal
