Job summary

Opus People Solutions Limited is recruiting for a part-time catering assistant based at Outwood Academy Valley in Worksop. You will work 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 14:30, 39.2 weeks per year, supporting a high quality catering service for pupils in a clean, safe and welcoming environment.

Key duties include assisting with meals, serving customers, keeping the kitchen and dining area hygienic, and following food safety and health and safety procedures.

About the Role:

Based at Outwood Academy Valley, S81 7EN, you will be working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 14:30, 39.2 weeks per year. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a high quality catering service, ensuring pupils receive excellent food service in a clean, safe and welcoming environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals
• Providing excellent customer service to pupils, staff and visitors
• Supporting the maintenance of a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area
• Following food safety and health and safety procedures
• Assisting with washing up and general kitchen duties

Pay Rate:

£12.71 per hour
