Aramark UK is seeking a Food Service Assistant at Thiepval Barracks in Lisburn. You will help deliver excellent food, service, and hospitality for military personnel, visitors and guests in a fast-paced environment.

Join a friendly team with strong emphasis on customer service, hygiene, and teamwork. The role offers shift patterns, daily duties, and opportunities to contribute to a purpose-led operation supporting Armed Forces communities.

Qualifications

• Legal right to work in the UK and ability to pass DBS checks.
• Experience in a busy kitchen or food service environment.
• A positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate tills and handle cash while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Prepare hot and cold drinks, serve food, and keep counters stocked.
• Make grab-and-go items like sandwiches, wraps, and paninis.
• Maintain cleanliness front and back of house, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Receive and store deliveries with proper stock rotation and minimal waste.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
Contract type: Permanent, full-time, 37 hours per week, 5 days over 7
Shift times: 6.30 – 14.30, 11.00 – 19.00, 12.30 – 20.30, 15.30 – 23.30
