Food Services Assistant - Independent School in Harrogate HG1

Position: Permanent role - 52 week contract, 5 days out of 7, £11.50 per hour

Wilson Vale is a quality-led contract caterer working with clients across the UK, including office restaurants, independent schools, and conference venues. We value great food as a key part of culture and community.

We seek a positive, honest, and reliable team member to join our friendly staff. Good training and career prospects are available for the right candidate.

This role involves working 5 days out of 7, including some weekends on a rota, with shifts from 7.00am to 3.00pm and 11.30am to 7.30pm.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience in a similar role and environment
• Flexibility to work both front and back of house
• Highly organized and able to work under pressure
• Maintain presentation of servery areas
• Serve and supervise food service for pupils
• Adhere to food hygiene and health & safety standards
• Keep areas clean and tidy
• Excellent customer service and social skills
• Responsible for food preparation and serving to staff
• Positive attitude and team player (team of 6)
• Basic food knowledge
• Willingness to participate and enjoy teamwork
