About the Roles

We are currently seeking two dedicated and customer-focused Food Service Assistants to join our catering team at Dumfries and Galloway College. These roles offer a great opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive environment, contributing to the daily food service operations within the college.

Position 1:

Hours: 20 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 09:30 – 14:30
Salary: £9,407.16 per annum (equivalent to £9.01 per hour)

Position 2:

Hours: 30 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 15:00
Salary: £14,110.74 per annum (equivalent to £9.10 per hour)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in food service areas
• Support the catering team with general duties
• Deliver excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors
