Coventry City Council is seeking a part-time catering assistant to join our team. The role involves preparing and presenting hot lunches, planning menus to meet dietary needs, ordering supplies and managing stock, with a strong focus on hygiene and safety.
Hours are 25 per week, generally 9:30am to 3:00pm, across a 5-day week. A DBS check is required; applicants must have Right to Work in the UK; sponsorship is not offered.
This is far more than a food serving role. You'll be involved in food preparation, menu planning, stock management, ordering supplies, maintaining food hygiene standards, and ensuring lunchtime meals meet a range of dietary, cultural and medical needs. What you'll do
Hours We have one permanent 25-hour position, plus a number of casual/zero hour contracts available. Working hours are generally between 9:30am and 3:00pm, rostered across a 5-day working week.
