Job Title: Catering Services Assistant

* PLEASE NOTE: This post is only open to current employees of NHS Golden Jubilee *

Job Purpose

The main focus of this role is to provide patient and visitor catering services to all customers, patients, departments, and business tenants within the hospital, adhering to all Health and Safety and Food Safety Regulations at all times.

Responsibilities

1. Work as part of a team on a 5 days over 7 days rota, with possible 12-hour shifts, to deliver a high-quality, patient and visitor-focused service.
2. Follow Policies and Procedures, including Food Fluid and Nutrition Standards, monitored by Team Leaders.
3. Operate in a busy food service environment, including till operation, filling and cleaning vending machines.
4. Work across various locations, including the galley dining room and vending areas, on different shifts.
