Job description

Job Title: Catering Assistant (NHS Golden Jubilee)

Please note: This post is only open to current employees of NHS Golden Jubilee.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide patient and visitor catering services to all customers, patients, departments, and business tenants within the hospital.
2. Adhere to all Health and Safety and Food Safety Regulations at all times.
3. Work as part of a team on a 5-day over 7-day rota, with possible 12-hour shifts.
4. Deliver a quality, patient and visitor-focused service.
5. Work between the galley dining room and vending areas on various shifts.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Knowledge of Policies and Procedures, Food Fluid and Nutrition Standards.
2. Relevant experience in a busy food service environment, including till operation and filling/cleaning vending machines.
