Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Food Service Assistant for Cambridge Biomedical Campus (CB2 0AA). This permanent full-time role offers front of house responsibility, food and beverage service, and a strong emphasis on customer care within a facilities services environment.

You will join a team delivering high standards, managing till operations, and maintaining hygiene across dining areas while supporting deliveries and stock as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or retail environments preferred.
• Strong customer service and professional demeanor required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, standards-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a professional front of house service with a strong focus on customer care and Sodexo standards.
• Support the preparation, presentation, and service of food and beverages, including accurate till operation and transactions.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all front of house, dining, and service areas.
• Monitor and replenish stock, assist with deliveries, and ensure food safety procedures are followed and recorded correctly.
• Comply with all health & safety, hygiene, fire safety, and COSHH regulations while reporting incidents or feedback promptly.
