Job summary

Aramark UK in Bournemouth is seeking a Food Service Assistant to deliver friendly customer service in a busy setting. You’ll work 25 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, with shifts from 7am to 6pm, at £13.40 per hour.

You’ll serve sandwiches and hot options, follow food hygiene rules, restock displays, and handle payments. Uniform is provided, meals on shift, and access to benefits and career development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Keen interest in food and customer service.
• Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and organisation.

Responsibilities

• Enthusiastically delivering the highest customer service standards.
• Follows food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements.
• Serving and preparing sandwiches/salads and a selection of hot food following food concepts and brand standards.
• Cleaning and setting up for the next day following strict cleanliness standards.
• Cross trained in other areas to assist the Coffee shop with handcrafting beverages following brand standards.
• Serve food and beverages to customers following prescribed methods of portioning, presentation, and combinations in line with brand standards and answer questions about the products.
• Take payment and keep financial records as required.
• Restock goods and ensure appropriate displays of merchandise.

Pay: £13.40/hour

Hours: 25 hours, Monday- Friday, shifts between 7am-6pm
