Job summary

Moulton Bulb Co. Ltd is seeking a diligent QC to ensure customer requirements and standards are achieved by providing an effective and efficient quality control service on site.

You will undertake quality and label checks, record findings, explain specifications, support product traceability, and communicate quality issues with internal departments to drive prompt corrective actions. Qualifications

• Previous QC experience within the food industry (preferable).
• Methodical with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of team.
• Good basic understanding of English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device.

Responsibilities

• Undertake quality and label checks in the Grader, record findings and highlight discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate checking of codes, dates and promotional labels on our system.
• Take reference photos to support legal compliance and ensure traceability.
• Inspect raw material quality against specifications and explain them to staff.
• Communicate with internal departments on quality issues to drive prompt action.
• Provide products that meet customer specifications at all times.
• Collaborate with the quality team to implement corrective actions.
• Keep your work area clean and follow the 'clean as you go' procedure.
• Perform start-up checks, including shelf-life verification and scale checks.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by your Manager.
