Job summary

MOGUNTIA FOOD Ingredients is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our Hetton-Le-Hole site. The role focuses on QC testing of raw materials and finished products, maintaining records, and coordinating external lab work to ensure compliance with our high hygiene and safety standards.

You will supervise calibration of equipment, maintain certificates of analysis, and perform label checks. Fluency in English and experience in food manufacturing are essential, with opportunities for training

Qualifications

Proven experience in food manufacturing, preferably in QA/QC roles.
Experience conducting QA audits and following up on non-conformances.
Sound knowledge of hygiene standards and practical application on site.
Understanding of technical standards relevant to food production.

Responsibilities

QC testing of raw materials, intermediates and finished products to ensure standards are met.
Maintain testing records and report deviations.
Calibrate and verify laboratory and production equipment.
Maintain certificates of analysis for testing equipment.
Coordinate external lab testing (microbiological, chemical, allergens).
Create finished product certificates of analysis for customers.
Formulate and check finished product labels for accuracy.
Audit site compliance to standards and address non-conformances.
Monitor plant cleaning and hygiene to meet specs.
