Job summary

Pro-Pak Foods is looking for a Technical Administrator to join our Malton-based Technical team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, data-focused and eager to build a career in food manufacturing or quality assurance.

Previous experience in a technical department is helpful but not essential—we’re seeking the right attitude and a willingness to learn. You’ll receive support and training to develop knowledge of food safety, quality systems and technical administration, with

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational and administration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
• Confident communicating with colleagues across departments.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the site's Food Safety & Quality Manual.
• Support the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, specifications and procedures.
• Assist with internal and external audits by gathering and retrieving information.
• Complete traceability exercises and supplier trace requests.
• Support mass balance exercises and departmental reporting.
• Monitoring KPIs and producing reports for site and senior management.
• Investigating and responding to customer complaints with QA Manager support.
• Inputting data into Sage X3 when required.
