Job summary

Brigg Scientific Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Food Quality Assurance Technologist for a client in East Manchester. The role involves inspecting raw materials, verifying analysis certificates, and conducting organoleptic testing to support overall QA processes.

The job requires ensuring GMP and CCP compliance, hygiene standards, and maintenance of QA records. The role is Monday to Friday, 2pm–10pm, initially temporary with potential to become permanent for the right candidate, with a salary

Qualifications

• Experience in food QA preferred.
• Familiarity with GMP, CCPs and hygiene practices.
• Ability to conduct raw materials inspections.

Responsibilities

• Conduct raw materials inspections and verify Certificates of Analysis.
• Perform organoleptic testing and document results.
• Control raw material stock levels and perform stock checks.
• Assist with GMP, CCPs and hygiene audits and corrective actions.
• Support QA projects and calibration of equipment.
• Handle admin duties including PO numbers and batch release references.
