Job summary

Lidl in London is seeking a Food Promotions Officer to support the Food Promotions team with planning, managing and executing Limited Offer and Seasonal promotions. You will work cross-functionally with Buying, Supply Chain, Marketing and Merchandising, liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and accurate promotion execution.

The role requires strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Pro-active and self-starting, approaching problems logically.
• Positive can-do attitude with eagerness to learn.
• Good working knowledge of Google Workspace.
• Excellent communication with internal departments, senior management and external partners.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and challenging environment.
• Engaged team player.
• German language is highly desirable, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Managing the shared inbox for the Food Promotions team.
• Working with stakeholders across the company including Master Data, Imports, Merchandising, Supply Chain and Marketing.
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure promotional items are delivered on time.
• Supporting the team on projects and daily tasks.
• Running the day-to-day of weekly and seasonal promotional offers, contacting suppliers to confirm promotions by phone and email.
• Analysing and preparing data.
• Maintaining our systems.
• Co-ordinating with suppliers, advertising and artwork to ensure items are advertised correctly.
• Solving problems and improving efficiencies.
• Managing several different deadlines simultaneously.
