Job summary

Lidl is seeking an analytical and organised Officer to support the Food Promotions team with a wide range of administrative tasks. You’ll work cross-functionally with Buying, Supply Chain, Marketing and Merchandising, liaising with suppliers to ensure promotions are delivered on time and advertised accurately.

You’ll handle data analysis, maintain our systems, manage multiple deadlines, and help drive turnover across stores.

Qualifications

• Well-organised with the ability to multitask and work to targets and strict deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Pro‑active and self‑starter, approaching problems logically and calmly.
• Positive can‑do attitude with eagerness to learn.
• Good working knowledge of Google Workspace.
• Excellent communication with the confidence and composure to deal with direct exposure to internal departments, senior management, and external partners.
• The ability to adapt to a fast‑paced and challenging environment.
• An engaged team player.
• German language is highly desirable, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage the shared inbox for the Food Promotions team.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across the company, including Master Data, Imports, Merchandising, Supply Chain and Marketing.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure promotional items are delivered on time.
• Support the team on projects and daily tasks.
• Run the day to day of our weekly and seasonal promotional offers, contacting suppliers to confirm promotions by phone and email.
• Analyse and prepare data.
• Maintain our systems.
• Coordinate with suppliers, advertising and artwork to ensure items are advertised correctly.
• Solve problems and improve efficiencies.
• Manage several different deadlines simultaneously.
