Job summary

Yeo Valley Farms (Production) Ltd in the UK is hiring Production Operatives to join our manufacturing teams across the Somerset and Devon sites. You’ll support production processes, operate packing lines, monitor quality, and help move finished goods through chill and dispatch operations to keep products safe, compliant and available for customers.

This hands-on role in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment rewards teamwork, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience within a food manufacturing, production, warehouse, or logistics environment.
  • Food Hygiene qualification
  • Knowledge of HACCP principles
  • Experience operating machinery or production equipment
  • Counterbalance or warehouse experience (for logistics-based roles)

Responsibilities

  • Operating production, processing, packing or warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
  • Monitoring product quality and carrying out routine quality checks
  • Following production schedules, procedures, and food safety standards
  • Recording information accurately and maintaining traceability records
  • Supporting product changeovers and line efficiencies
  • Moving materials and finished products safely around the site
  • Maintaining excellent hygiene, housekeeping, and safety standards
  • Working closely with Production, Quality, Planning, and Logistics teams to achieve daily targets
  • Contributing to a positive team environment focused on continuous improvement

About the Role

We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable Production Operatives to join our manufacturing team.
