Job summary

Renford Recruitment Ltd in the Malvern area seeks a Food Production Operative to join a growing manufacturing and production team. The role includes packing and warehouse duties within a food production environment.

We offer an immediate start with training provided for the right candidate and a possible permanent position after a successful trial period. Hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00, with pay starting at £13.40 per hour.

Qualifications

• Basic literacy and numeracy required.
• Ability to operate plant and machinery safely.
• Health and safety awareness essential.
• Environmental awareness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery as part of the production line.
• Carry out warehousing operations for storage and picking.
• Pack materials and equipment for both paper and tote bags.
• Assist with loading vehicles and containers for despatch.
• Follow food production procedures to maintain safety.
• Complete packing and warehouse paperwork accurately.
• Inform supervisor of issues and ensure records are kept.
• Raise any food safety or plant safety concerns to senior staff.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and follow all safety rules.
• Perform any other duties as required.
