Job summary

Acorn by Synergie in the Plymouth area is seeking a Food Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing site on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The role involves preparing batch-cooked products, operating production equipment, and ensuring quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare batch-cooked food products and large-scale recipes according to production schedules.
• Operate commercial food production equipment.
• Ensure consistent product quality including taste and ingredient specification.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and temperature control procedures.
• Maintain accurate batch labelling and product traceability.
• Restock ingredients and support inventory management.
• Carry out end-of-shift cleaning and maintain a safe production environment.
