Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Production Operatives to join a leading food manufacturer in Knowsley, L34. The role offers a temporary to permanent contract with immediate starts and a competitive hourly rate.

You will operate production machinery, assist packing, ensure GMP standards and traceability, and work as part of a busy production team in a fast-paced environment. Shift patterns include 1pm-9pm or 3pm-11pm, with flexibility to cover other shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a food production environment.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Good manual handling ability.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Pack finished products to company quality standards.
• Weigh raw materials accurately.
• Complete production paperwork to ensure full traceability.
• Palletise finished products ready for dispatch.
• Recycle waste materials, including packaging.
• Handle materials weighing up to 25kg.
• Achieve daily production targets and KPIs.
• Maintain GMP standards and a clean-as-you-go working environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work collaboratively as part of the production team.

Two positions available:

• Monday to Friday: 1pm-9pm.
• Monday to Friday: 3pm-11pm. Flexibility to cover alternative shifts when required is essential.
