Job summary

Proman is seeking a Food Production Operative for a site in Whitefield, Bury. Role involves processing and packing pork products, light butchery, order picking and general housekeeping on a Monday–Friday shift, 7:00–16:30 (Fri 15:30).

Pay includes £13.00/hr during standard hours (up to 42.75hrs), £19.50/hr overtime (over 42.75hrs), and £26.00/hr on Sundays. Benefits include canteen, staff shop with discounted meat, and parking.

Responsibilities

• Processing and packing pork products, including curing and smoking (not halal).
• Light butchery work—cutting and trimming pork and beef cuts.
• Order picking—single or bulk picks.
• General housekeeping.
