Job summary

Cranswick Gourmet Sausage Co. (Lazenby’s) is seeking a motivated Product Developer to support NPD and EPD projects from concept to launch at our Hull facility, coordinating with site teams and customers to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality results.

You will gain a strong understanding of food products and manufacturing processes, manage multiple projects, and communicate effectively across departments.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a food-related subject.
• 6 months to 1-2 years of experience in a similar field.
• Full valid driving license.
• Passion for food and product development.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proactive and results-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver NPD and EPD projects from concept to launch.
• Act as a link between sites, customers, and internal departments.
• Ensure customer expectations and technical requirements are met.
• Support successful product launches across the business.
• Develop strong knowledge of food products and manufacturing processes.
