Job summary

Cranswick Gourmet Sausage Co. (Lazenby’s) is seeking a motivated Product Developer to support NPD and EPD projects from concept to launch at our Hull facility, coordinating with site teams and customers to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality results.

You will gain a strong understanding of food products and manufacturing processes, manage multiple projects, and communicate effectively across departments.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a food-related subject.
• 6 months to 1-2 years of experience in a similar field.
• Full valid driving license.
• Passion for food and product development.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proactive and results-driven approach.

Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate Product Developer to join our NPD Team. In this role, you will support the development and delivery of both NPD and EPD projects from concept through to launch. Working closely with site teams and customers, you will help ensure products are delivered successfully, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and deliver NPD and EPD projects from concept to launch
• Act as a link between sites, customers, and internal departments
• Ensure customer expectations and technical requirements are met
• Support successful product launches across the business
• Develop strong knowledge of food products and manufacturing processes
• Degree or equivalent in food related subject
• A strong understanding of the NPD & process built from 6 months to 1-2 years' experience within a similar field
• Full valid driving license
• Passion for food and product development
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• A proactive and results-driven approach
