Job summary

The Compleat Food Group is seeking a Product and Process Development Manager to lead product development from concept to launch at our Ebbw Vale site. You will ensure the launch process is followed, critical paths are respected, and product quality aligns with commercial targets.

You will manage end-to-end development, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive innovation in soups, dips and sauces while building strong customer relationships and leading the site development function.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of the product launch process in FMCG.
• Food-based degree desirable.
• Quality and accuracy of information.
• Timely and accurate completion of tasks.
• Appropriate and timely escalation.
• Facilitating successful feasibility presentations.
• Confidence in providing intelligent solutions to problem solving.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong planning, organisation and project management skills.
• Good analytic and numeracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer briefs and innovation pipelines aligned with KPIs.
• Grow and maintain customer relationships.
• Manage end-to-end development at site level.
• Work with Insight and Category teams on pipelines and market insights.
• Oversee handover and launch success of New Product Development.
• Line management responsibility including performance and development.
