Job summary

Riverway Foods, located in Harlow, is recruiting for a full-time Food Processing Operative. The role operates from 06:00 to 15:00, Monday to Friday, in a chilled factory environment, reporting to a line leader.

Pay starts at £13.13 per hour with a progression to £13.39 after training. Benefits include 28 days holiday (bank holidays included) and access to support services and colleague discounts.

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Good communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team

Are you looking for a new opportunity within a factory environment? Riverway Foods, Harlow, is growing and we are recruiting for a full-time permanent Food Processing Operative to join our team.

The Crosby family's passion for quality has been at the heart of Riverway Foods since the family founded the company in 1971. Part of the CPC Group since 2018, Riverway Foods continues to craft the best-tasting sausages in Britain. Using only high-welfare pork from British farms, you’ll find us in supermarkets, including Aldi and Tesco.

Reporting to a line leader, the role will involve working in a chilled food environment.

Role responsibilities include:

• Scanning and system work

• Keeping the production area clean and tidy to maintain a safe and efficient workspace

• Work with other team members to keep the production line moving

• Previous experience in a factory/manufacturing environment is preferred

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• Good communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team

• This role involves some heavy lifting
