Job summary

Samworth Brothers Limited is seeking a Process Technologist to drive safe, legal and high-quality product launches from kitchen concept to shelf. You will run trials, track critical paths and gather microbiological, nutritional and sensory data to ensure compliance.

The role emphasizes HACCP, raw materials, packaging approval and cross-functional collaboration across NPD and Production. The position offers a supportive, improvement-driven environment with pension, health discounts, and ongoing

Qualifications

• Food industry experience is helpful; graduates with Food Science are welcome.
• Experience in chilled manufacturing or FMCG is an advantage.
• Comfortable running or supporting factory trials.
• Understanding HACCP, specs, raw materials and quality processes.
• Experience in cross-functional roles such as NPD, Technical or Production is useful.

Responsibilities

• Follow the critical path to launch new products on time.
• Run bakery or factory trials and ensure products work on the line.
• Gather microbiological, nutritional and sensory data.
• Ensure products meet food safety, legality and quality standards.
• Check new raw materials and raise HACCP concerns when needed.
• Approve packaging artwork before launch.
