Job summary

apetito Limited is hiring for a packing operative in our site-based packing department. You will check products after freezing, ensure suitability for packing, and pack on multiple lines with speeds up to 52 packs per minute.

You will join a core team of 17 and help maintain quality and tidiness while raising any concerns to the team leader. The role is 40 hours per week with shifts 14:00-22:00 Monday-Thursday and 15:00-23:00 on Fridays; the position offers £13.80 per hour plus bonus and

Qualifications

• Food safety level 2 (training provided)
• Attention to detail and ability to follow tasks
• Comfortable standing for long periods
• Good English speaking
• Previous food manufacturing or warehouse experience helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Keep packing department tidy and auditable
• Quality check packs while packing
• Maintain a safe working environment and highlight any risks
• Assist other roles in the department as needed
• Keep up with line speeds and flex across lines
