apetito Wiltshire Farm Foods in Wiltshire is recruiting for a packing operative to join the on-site packing department. You will check products after freezing, ensure suitability for packing, and assist packing on one of ten lines.
You will help keep areas tidy, maintain quality, and raise any concerns to the team leader. The role is 40 hours per week with shifts 14:00-22:00 or 15:00-23:00, Monday to Friday.
To work with in our packing department, which pack's all the meals on site which on average is around 1.4 million units a week. The main role will be to check the product after freezing ensuring it is suitable to pack and then packing in a variety of different ways dependant on one of the 10 lines existing in the department, the packs range from 200grams up to 1.6KG which work up to 52 packs per minute. All defects will be captured and concerns will be raised to your team leader. You will work with in a core team of 17 to do all functions across the department and expected to have a pro-active approach to your working style.
This role is working 40 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 1400-2200, Friday 1500-2300.
