Job summary

The Compleat Food Group is seeking a Technical Systems and Audit Lead for our Middlesbrough site. You will strengthen food safety, quality and technical governance across the factory, using data and audits to identify risks and drive improvements.

You will embed ownership and accountability, lead corrective actions, and support NPD and operations with trials and technical problem solving, while maintaining a strong hands-on factory presence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG technical/quality environment with a strong factory-floor presence.
• Knowledge of food safety, FS&Q systems, HACCP, GMP, BRCGS and regulatory standards.
• Experience owning and delivering internal audit programmes and driving corrective actions to closure.
• Understanding of SPC, process control, centrelines, root cause analysis and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own the site internal audit programme with planned audits and closed actions.
• Maintain compliance with technical systems aligned to company, customer and regulatory requirements.
• Analyse SPC, non-conformance, complaints and audit data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Own vision systems, metal detection, calibration and coding systems within the site.
• Drive process control, centreline adherence, quality and governance at the site.
• Lead quality and technical improvement projects to reduce non-conformances and improve product quality.
• Support NPD and operations with trials, launches and process improvements.
• Maintain strong factory presence and embed standards with operational teams.
