Job summary

The Compleat Food Group seeks a Technical Systems and Audit Lead for our Middlesbrough site. You will strengthen food safety, quality, compliance, and technical governance across the factory, using audits and data to drive improvements and embed a culture of ownership.

You will engage with operations to embed standards, lead CAPA activities, and support NPD and trials while maintaining a strong factory presence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment with factory-floor presence.
• Experience owning and delivering internal audit programmes with corrective actions.
• Knowledge of FS&Q systems, HACCP, GMP, BRCGS and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own the site internal audit programme, planning audits and closing actions.
• Maintain compliance with technical systems and site/customer/regulatory requirements.
• Analyse SPC, non-conformance, complaints and audit data to identify trends and improvements.
• Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Own vision systems, metal detection and checkweighers calibration and coding systems.
• Drive process control, centreline adherence, quality and governance at site.
• Lead technical improvement projects reducing non-conformances and improving product quality.
