As the Food Lettings Manager, reporting into our resident Food & Memberships Director James, this is a brand new role where you’ll have a real and exciting opportunity to create impact in a fast growing, people-centric business. Part food scout, part lettings agent, and all-round deal-maker, this is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of food at KERB and beyond.

Responsibilities
- Discover and secure the next wave of food talent, including future stars like Bleecker, Bao, and Pizza Pilgrims.
- Manage relationships with 60+ tenants across our global food network (UK, USA, Denmark, Germany).
- Oversee food scouting missions worldwide, including London, to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Contribute to the operational and strategic development of food businesses across our sites.
- Negotiate and secure lease deals for KERB’s food halls locally and internationally.
- Stay updated on local and global food trends to inform offerings.
- Identify gaps in member offerings and source suitable independent food businesses.
- Manage contracts, leases, and negotiations with tenants globally.
- Build and maintain relationships with tenants, acting as the primary liaison.
- Ensure compliance with licenses, legal obligations, and regulations.
- Implement quality control measures to enhance offerings.
- Use data insights for strategic planning on food offerings and trader rotations.
- Assist with audits, performance reviews, and compliance issues.
- Proactively secure talent for future opportunities in KERB food halls.
- Collaborate on menu development, market research, and quality control.
- Coordinate onboarding and launches with internal teams.
- Manage member feedback and develop improvement plans.
- Support the expansion of global memberships.
- Travel to sites in Copenhagen, Berlin, and Saluhall as needed.
Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of the global food scene, from local gems to international trends.
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally, including the US, with eligibility for business travel.
- Understanding of lease contracts and legal frameworks.
- Proficiency with software and systems relevant to the role.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Nice-to-have: experience with independent food businesses.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong sales skills.
