A local authority in Islington is looking for a proactive and organised Housing Repairs Co-ordinator to support their busy housing repairs service. This is a great opportunity to join a dedicated team focused on delivering responsive and effective repair services to residents across the borough.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the first point of contact for housing repair enquiries from tenants and leaseholders.

Log, schedule, and coordinate repair works with operatives and contractors.

Monitor progress and follow up on outstanding repairs to ensure timely completion.

Update systems with accurate notes and repair status information.

Handle customer queries professionally and empathetically, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a housing repairs, contact centre, or coordination role within a local authority or housing association.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing demands.

Familiarity with housing management or repairs systems (e.g., Northgate, Orchard, or similar) is desirable.
