ABOUT THE ROLE

A BRIEF SUMMARY
EMG / Gravity Media is looking for a highly talented, motivated, and passionate PR Executive to join our growing global company.

In order to support our global growth ambitions, we are expanding our marketing team with an exciting new opportunity for talented PR Executive, who will be essential in helping us elevate our offering, services and work PR stories – growing the brand across key broadcast, tech, media, creative and sport titles and channels to drive brand awareness.

Based out of our London offices you will be part of the growing Marketing team. You will be a natural written and spoken communicator with a passion of PR as well as growing out a global brand across digital marketing.

Your role will involve supporting the Global Marketing Lead with all PR and news related content. The role will work closely to help bring to life the global and local marketing strategies.

This is primarily office-based role; however you will also have the opportunity to work remotely – therefore it is essential you can commute to the UK locations, White City, Soho, Watford and High Wycombe.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Supporting the Global Marketing Lead across all written communications.
  • Being responsible for all campaign writing across press releases, internal communications, website case studies, new work, social media, etc.
  • Drafting external press releases, reporting to the Global Marketing Lead.
  • Working closely to ensure offerings, capabilities, work, and talent are communicated externally with best-in-class storytelling.
  • Compiling and writing the internal team newsletter.
  • Drafting biweekly emailers across the combined group.
  • Ensuring companies’ and competitors’ press is tracked and analyzed.
  • Capturing press clippings.
  • Creating key press imagery.
  • Working closely with the internal team to bring to life stories from across all areas of the business.
  • Assisting in content creation for all communications, including social media channels and digital newsletters.
  • Building staff spotlight stories for the website.
  • Creating and compiling a PR calendar by market, ensuring key stories link to launches and events.
  • Managing team headshots, working alongside the Creative Designer.
  • Supporting the Global team with any industry events activations.

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF

  • You have a degree in a related PR/marketing field.
  • You have over 4 years of experience in a related PR/Marketing field.
  • You have experience in B2B technology/services sectors.
  • You have experience in the broadcast and production sector.
  • You have experience setting up press interviews and delivering press campaigns.
  • You have experience using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
  • You have experience using WordPress CMS.
  • You have the ability to deliver pragmatic press solutions that work within a commercial environment.
  • You have excellent copywriting skills.
  • You are a strong storyteller.
  • You have solid planning and organizational skills.
  • You have strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • You have experience using WordPress CRM.
  • You have excellent attention to detail.
  • You are a confident relationship builder able to work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • You have effective oral, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • You possess creativity and innovation.
  • You are goal-oriented with a strong commitment to deliver results.
  • You are a tenacious achiever of business challenges, prepared to go above and beyond whenever required, with a ‘can do’ attitude and a ‘hands-on’ approach.
  • You have the ability to manage multiple tasks, managing priorities and expectations where required.
  • You are a team player, strongly collaborative within all levels of the business.
  • You speak European languages, with French and/or German being particularly desirable.
  • You have an interest in Broadcast Media or Sport/Entertainment/Film/TV.
