Job summary

MorePeople are recruiting an experienced Hygiene Manager for a busy food manufacturing site in the United Kingdom. This hands-on leadership role will drive high standards of hygiene, GMP compliance and audit readiness across the site.

You will lead the hygiene team, plan daily activities and deep cleans, maintain records, deliver training and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Level 3 HACCP qualification is required.
• Level 4 Food Hygiene qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the site hygiene team.
• Plan and coordinate daily hygiene activities and weekend deep cleans.
• Ensure the factory consistently meets hygiene, food safety and GMP standards.
• Conduct hygiene audits, identify improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Manage cleaning schedules, resources and budgets effectively.
• Maintain accurate hygiene records, cleaning sign-offs and compliance documentation.
• Deliver training and promote a strong hygiene culture across the site.
