Job summary

Upham Inn is seeking Food & Beverage Team Members in Milton Keynes to join a high-energy, high-volume team. You will welcome guests, take orders, handle payments, and serve beverages in a busy pub environment while ensuring excellent service and guest satisfaction.

We offer up to £12.71 per hour plus a share of Tronc, flexible shift patterns, substantial meal and accommodation discounts, and a clear development pathway to General Manager along with various staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older due to licensing laws.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Organised approach to tasks and responsibilities.
• Confident and proactive in a busy hospitality environment.
• General knowledge of food, wine and beer.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests in the pub.
• Taking food and drink orders and handling cash/card payments.
• Serving hot and cold beverages including alcohol.
• Ensuring cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
• Assisting with managerial requests.
• Looking after guests throughout their entire experience.
• Balancing high volume with high quality.
• Participating in ongoing training and development.
• Eager to learn new skills and progress.
