Job summary

National Trust in the United Kingdom is looking for a Food and Beverage Team Leader to supervise a busy cafe team in a rural setting. You’ll focus on front-of-house service, greeting guests, serving food and drinks, and ensuring displays are attractive and accurate.

You’ll lead induction and on-going training, develop your team, handle customer questions and complaints, and work closely with the kitchen when needed.

This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.#LI-DNI, As a Team Leader, you'll be giving day-to-day support to your team, to make sure they're consistently giving great service to everyone who comes to the caf . This is a busy, lively place to work, so you'll need to be adaptable. Your focus will be front of house, dealing directly with people and serving them food and drink. Crucial to this role will be your love of working with people, your positive 'can-do' attitude and your desire to provide an outstanding service. Using your excellent eye for detail, you'll make sure all displays and signs are accurate, and that the food is looking good. At times, you may need to help the kitchen team with preparing food. You'll also be supervising the induction and training of colleagues, to help build a team that's dedicated to great service and to giving people a day to remember. We'll give you an induction that fits the job, and training in allergens and food safety, plus any mentoring needed to help you in your role.
