National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty is seeking a Food and Beverage Team Leader in a rural setting. You will lead front-of-house service, supervise a team, and ensure a high standard of guest experience across our cafe sites.
You’ll coordinate inductions, trainings and daily tasks, maintaining accurate displays and safe food presentation while supporting the kitchen as needed. 22.5 hours per week, permanent contract, with a focus on excellent service.

Hours: You'll work 22.5 hours per week. You'll typically work three days per week, including regular weekend working, between the hours of 8:30am and 5:30pm.
Salary: £15,502.5 per annum
Duration: Permanent

As a Team Leader, you’ll be giving day-to-day support to your team, to make sure they’re consistently giving great service to everyone who comes to the café. This is a busy, lively place to work, so you’ll need to be adaptable.
Your focus will be front of house, dealing directly with people and serving them food and drink. Crucial to this role will be your love of working with people, your positive ‘can-do’ attitude and your desire to provide an outstanding service.
Using your excellent eye for detail, you’ll make sure all displays and signs are accurate, and that the food is looking good. At times, you may need to help the kitchen team with preparing food.
You’ll also be supervising the induction and training of colleagues, to help build a team that’s dedicated to great service and to giving people a day to remember.
We’ll give you an induction that fits the job, and training in allergens and food safety, plus any mentoring needed to help you in your role. You can sign up for further professional training and development if you wish.
