Job summary

Holiday Inn Farnborough is seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead the dining team and deliver memorable guest experiences. The role offers a competitive annual salary with a hourly supplement and service charge for a 40-hour week over 5 days.

You will oversee service standards, assist in food and beverage preparation, maintain dining area cleanliness, handle guest inquiries, support events, and help with stock and inventory. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards.
• Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Food and Beverage team as they carry out their duties.
• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to guests in an efficient and pleasant manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
• Support the Food and Beverage team in all operational duties, including setting up and clearing tables, restocking supplies, and assisting with inventory management.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of events and special functions.
• Ensure all areas are well-stocked and presented impeccably at all times.
