Job summary

The Lygon Arms, part of Iconic Luxury Hotels, is seeking a passionate Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead service across our restaurant, bar, and events spaces. This hands-on leadership role suits an experienced supervisor ready to advance in a luxury setting.

You will mentor the team, uphold exceptional guest experiences, and support daily operations while working evenings and weekends in a historic Cotswolds hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Food & Beverage teams in a hotel/restaurant setting.
• Strong leadership and guest-service focus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the team during service across restaurant, bar, lounges and events spaces.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining high service standards.
• Support the Restaurant & Bar Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Coach, train and develop team members through briefings and on-the-job support.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and turn challenges into positive experiences.
• Ensure smooth service, accurate billing, and presentation standards across the operation.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues across the hotel to deliver seamless guest service.

What you'll be doing

• Leading and inspiring the team during service across our restaurant, bar, lounges and events spaces
• Delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining our high service standards

About you

• Previous experience as a Food & Beverage Supervisor, Team Leader, Senior Waiter/Waitress or similar role
• Passionate about hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences
• A confident leader who enjoys motivating and developing others
• Calm, organised and professional in a busy environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
