Job summary

The Headland in Newquay is seeking a passionate F&B Supervisor to join our leadership team on RenMor. You will oversee daily shifts, coordinate the team, and ensure seamless delivery of food and drinks with professional flair in a coastal luxury setting.

Join us to lead a high-quality service culture, connect with guests, and mentor staff while maintaining pristine standards across opening/closing procedures and stock control.

• Previous supervisory or strong senior leadership experience within a high-quality restaurant or hotel environment.

• Leading the Floor: Overseeing daily shifts, coordinating the team, and ensuring the smooth delivery of food and drinks with professional flair.
• Elevating the Experience: Role modelling high service standards with a balance of character and professionalism.
• Guest Connection: Engaging with guests, handling enquiries, and resolving feedback with a warm, solution-focused attitude.
• Team Development: Training, mentoring and motivating F&B Attendants, including Barista and service training support.
• Operational Excellence: Managing opening/closing procedures, cleanliness, cash handling and stock control.

The Role

We are looking for a passionate, vibrant, and organised Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our leadership team in RenMor.

Perched proudly on Newquay’s historic Towan Headland with sweeping views across the pounding surf of Fistral Bay, RenMor is an elegant, light-filled sanctuary serving everything from leisurely morning breakfasts to exquisite, seasonally inspired dinners.

We are creating a space where guests can immerse themselves in relaxed, coastal luxury and feel completely at home.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the Floor: Overseeing daily shifts, coordinating the team, and ensuring the smooth, seamless delivery of food and drinks with professional flair.
• Elevating the Experience: Acting as a role model for the team, balancing character with professionalism, and maintaining our high service standards.
• Guest Connection: Engaging with guests, handling advanced enquiries, and resolving any feedback or complaints with a warm, solution-focused, and authoritative attitude.
• Team Development: Training, mentoring, and motivating F&B Attendants, helping them grow their skills (including supporting their Barista and service training).
• Operational Excellence: Managing opening and closing procedures, ensuring pristine standards of cleanliness, and maintaining accurate cash handling and stock control.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous supervisory or strong senior leadership experience within a high-quality restaurant or hotel environment.
• A genuine passion for high-quality food, drink, and luxury hospitality.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and delegation skills with a team-first mindset.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a calm under-pressure demeanour.
• Flexibility: Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
