Graduate Cambridge is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead the floor across our restaurant and bar, ensuring warm, polished hospitality and smooth service during busy periods. You’ll supervise a team of waiters and bartenders, coach staff, manage section plans and briefings, and work closely with the kitchen to keep service tight and guest experiences high.
This full-time role offers flexible shifts, meals on shift and clear opportunities to grow within the White Rabbit group across
Location: Cambridge, CB3
Pay: Up to £15.60 per hour OTE
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Department: Food & Beverage – Restaurant and Bar
Graduate Cambridge sits on the banks of the River Cam, a short stroll from the colleges, the punts and the buzz of the city centre. Our restaurant and bar are where locals, students, academics and travellers come together, whether that’s for morning coffee, a long lunch, after-work drinks or a celebration dinner.
We’re looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor who loves a busy service, knows how to lift a team, and gets a kick out of making every guest feel like a regular. If you’re a confident restaurant or bar supervisor (or an ambitious senior waiter or bartender ready to step up), this is your next move.
Everything we do is guided by our ethos, work hard and be kind, and our four values. As F&B Supervisor, you’ll bring them to life on every shift.
Hospitality is at our core. You’ll run the floor during service, managing the flow, reading the room and keeping everything moving smoothly across restaurant and bar. You’ll set the tone for warm, polished and genuinely personal hospitality, and handle guest feedback with confidence to turn a wobble into a win.
We do the right thing. You’ll champion food safety, allergen procedures, licensing and health and safety standards on every shift, and look after your team as well as you look after your guests.
We pursue excellence. You’ll lead, motivate and coach a team of waiters, bartenders and runners, owning briefings, section plans, opening and closing, and cash-up. Working closely with the kitchen, you’ll keep service tight and communication sharp.
We are all entrepreneurs. You’ll drive sales through upselling, menu knowledge and a great drinks offer, spot opportunities to do things better, and support the F&B management team with stock, rotas and training.
If you’re a hospitality leader who wants to grow your career in Cambridge, we’d love to hear from you.
Graduate Cambridge is an equal opportunities employer. We welcome applications from everyone and value diversity across our teams.
