Role: Bars & Restaurants, Guest Services

Location: The Lakes Rookley, Isle of Wight

Hours of work: 40 hours a week - weekend & evenings required

Salary: £33,000 per year

What we need, in a nutshell

We’re looking for a dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to oversee our bars, restaurant, and events operation, providing hands-on leadership and a passion for service excellence.

This key role involves working with staff to create memorable guest experiences and strategically driving our F&B operations towards sustainable, profitable growth.

You will balance daily engagement with strategic planning, building and empowering customer-facing teams to deliver outstanding service.

We seek a high-caliber Food & Beverage Manager to lead our food & beverage operations, foster a thriving team environment, and create lasting guest memories. You should also have an analytical mind to process KPIs and drive performance through standards and leadership. Your responsibilities include:

• Managing, leading, training, and motivating a team to deliver delight
• Overseeing the smooth running of F&B operations, including preparation, service, and post-service duties
• Maximising sales and driving profitable growth with care and flair
• Managing stock control, implementing policies for efficient ordering, accurate deliveries, and stock-taking
• Achieving KPIs and profit targets through budget planning and commercial awareness
• Taking ownership of food & beverage elements for events, working with the events team to ensure successful execution
• Supporting guest experience by providing strong leadership and motivation
• Ensuring health and safety compliance and staff training

Skills, experience, and qualities needed

We are looking for a high-calibre Food & Beverage Manager, with:

• Commercial focus with experience in delivering profits while maintaining excellent customer experience
• Proven leadership and team development skills in hospitality
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems
• Strong project management skills and ability to implement new strategies
• Hands-on, self-motivated, ambitious, with common sense and a sense of humour

Experience in holiday parks is a plus.
