Job summary

Eden Locke Edinburgh is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to lead daily operations across our coffee shop by day and wine and cocktail bar by night. You will be hands on, on the floor with your team, shaping guest experiences and ensuring service excellence.

In this role you will own the F&B operation, including budgets, stock, costs and profitability, while working closely with the wider hotel team to deliver a seamless guest journey and memorable experiences for every guest.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing a Food & Beverage operation or similar hospitality environment.
• Strong guest service mindset and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits and cocktails beneficial.
• Good commercial awareness with understanding of budgets and profitability.

We are looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to join the team at Eden Locke, Edinburgh.

Our F&B space is at the heart of the hotel. By day, it is a relaxed coffee shop serving our guests, local community and visitors. As the day moves on, it transforms into a welcoming wine and cocktail bar.

We are looking for someone who enjoys being hands on, leading from the front and working closely with their team. You will play a key role in shaping the F&B experience while working closely with the hotel team to create a seamless experience for our guests.

About the Job

As F&B Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operation and overall performance of our F&B offering.

This is a hands on role. You will be on the floor, working alongside your team, supporting service, speaking with guests and making sure everything runs smoothly. You will also take ownership of the commercial side of the operation, including budgets, stock, costs and profitability.

You will work closely with the wider hotel team, supporting events, activations and the overall guest experience. We are a collaborative environment, so communication and teamwork are a big part of the role.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, confident leading a team and comfortable getting stuck in.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience managing a Food & Beverage operation or a similar hospitality environment.
• A genuine passion for food, drinks and creating great guest experiences.
• Good knowledge of wine, spirits and cocktails.
• Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of budgets, costs and profitability.
• Experience managing, coaching and developing a team.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• A practical, organised and solution focused approach.
• Confidence using POS, stock management and other hospitality systems.

Most importantly, you will be someone who leads by example, enjoys working with people and is not afraid to get stuck in wherever needed.
