Job summary

The Club Company is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our prestigious golf and country clubs across the UK. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and memorable dining experiences for Members and guests, supporting the F&B Manager/Supervisor and contributing to a high-quality guest experience.

You will set up spaces, welcome guests, serve and upsell, manage bar areas, and collaborate across front-of-house roles, including barista duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer facing role desirable.
• Food safety certification and/or HACCP certified is desirable.
• An excellent standard of presentation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and event spaces ahead of service.
• Greet and serve guests with a high standard of customer care.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain well-stocked bar areas and upsell offerings.
• Clear and clean tables and support cleaning routines.
• Follow money handling procedures during service.
• Assist in other front-of-house areas including Bar and Barista duties.

The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Food & Beverage (F&B) Assistant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the guest experience by delivering outstanding service and ensuring memorable dining experiences for both Club Members and guests. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager/Supervisor, you will help uphold our reputation for exceptional service and quality.

As a Food & Beverage (F&B) Assistant, you will be responsible for setting up tables and event spaces, greeting and serving guests, delivering food and drinks promptly, maintaining well-stocked bar areas, upselling offerings, clearing and cleaning tables, ensuring money handling procedures are followed, and flexibly assisting in various front-of-house areas, including full bar and Barista duties. Experience & Skills Required:

Schedule:

• We operate a 7-days a week business, between 0600 to 2300
• Shift patterns will vary as per business requirements and encompass all opening hours - weekends and bank holidays
• Evening availability for functions (until 0200)
