Delta Hotels by Marriott Worsley Park Country Club is seeking Conference & Banqueting Associates to join our busy events team. You will host a blend of guests and events including weddings, golf and corporate groups, providing warm welcomes and expert food and beverage service.

Duties include preparing and monitoring conference spaces, room setups and breakdowns, recording MICROS transactions, handling cash, and liaising with the kitchen to meet dietary needs and special requests.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or events experience preferred.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle cash and operate POS systems.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and monitor the Conference & Banqueting areas for service and guest comfort.
• Provide a warm welcome to guests, advise on menu options, and answer questions.
• Conduct room setups and breakdowns for events.
• Record all transactions in the MICROS till system at time of order.
• Provide food and beverage service, including alcohol and non-vegetarian items.
• Communicate with kitchen about menu questions, wait times, recook orders, and dietary needs.
• Complete closing duties, including cash handling/banking.
• Report maintenance or security issues to supervisors.
• Participate in training when required.

Conference & Banqueting Associates at Worsley Park enjoy a varied and very active role in providing our guests with memorable and unique experiences. As part of our family of associates you will host a blend of guests & events including weddings, golf, sports teams, corporate guests & leisure visitors.

Specific duties include;

• Prepare and monitor the Conference & Banqueting areas for service and guest comfort
• Providing a warm welcome to guests, advising them of menu options and answering questions about products & services where necessary
• Conduct room setups and breakdowns
• Record all transactions in the MICROS till system at time of order
• Provide food and beverage service, including alcohol and non-vegetarian items
• Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, recook orders, and product availability. Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
• Complete closing duties, including cash handling/banking
• Report any maintenance or security issues to supervisors
• Participate in training when required
