Job summary

Champneys Henlow Limited is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to deliver exceptional guest experiences across our restaurants, bars and events spaces. You will join a motivated team, providing friendly, professional service while maintaining high standards.

Key duties include serving across restaurant, bar and room service, welcoming guests, preparing service stations, supporting events, staying knowledgeable on menus and nutrition, and collaborating with kitchen teams to ensure smooth

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service across restaurant, bar and room service areas.
• Welcome guests with a warm, professional experience.
• Prepare service stations and mise-en-place before service.
• Take orders and serve food and drinks efficiently and professionally.
• Support events including meetings, weddings and afternoon teas.
• Maintain knowledge of menus, nutrition information and Champneys offerings.
• Keep service areas clean, organized and presentable at all times.
• Handle guest feedback and escalate when required.
• Collaborate with kitchen and wider teams to ensure smooth service.
• Promote Champneys experiences and facilities to upsell where appropriate.

As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering a memorable guest experience across our restaurants, bars and events spaces. You'll be part of a motivated team, providing friendly, professional service while creating a welcoming and relaxed environment for our guests. You will also support the team in maintaining high standards and contributing to a positive, commercially successful department.

• Providing outstanding service across restaurant, bar and room service areas
• Welcoming guests and ensuring a warm, professional experience
• Preparing service stations and assisting with mise-en-place before service
• Taking orders and serving food and drinks efficiently and professionally
• Supporting events including meetings, weddings and afternoon teas
• Maintaining excellent product knowledge, including menus and nutritional information
• Keeping service areas clean, organised and presentable at all times
• Handling guest feedback and escalating when required
• Working closely with the kitchen and wider teams to ensure smooth service
• Supporting upselling opportunities by promoting Champneys experiences and facilities
